Walensky to deliver keynote
Infectious disease clinician and former CDC director Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH, will address the Class of 2025 at the MD Commencement ceremony. Dr. Walensky, who was professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Infectious Diseases division chief at Massachusetts General Hospital, received her BA from WashU.
The journey begins
The MD Class of 2025 began their medical school journeys at their White Coat Ceremony, where incoming students receive their white coats and take an oath — one they have written as a class — dedicating themselves to their patients and profession.

Discovering what’s next
On Match Day, the Class of 2025 — along with graduating medical students across the country — found out where they will train as medical residents. “The future of medicine is in good hands,” says Dr. Kathryn M. Diemer, the assistant dean for career advising.
