Doctor of Medicine candidates and their guests celebrated our graduates at the MD Pre-Commencement Reception Thursday evening, and at the all-university Commencement ceremony and the MD recognition ceremony on Friday.

Pediatrician, scientist and public health expert Mona Hanna-Attisha, MD, MPH, helped expose the Flint Water Crisis and continues to lead recovery efforts.
“I understand people feeling desperate,” says MD candidate Weston McCarron. “My goal is to get them to feel better. I’m finally on a career path that allows me to do good in the world.”
Alexandra Keane will represent graduate students at all-university Commencement. Keane has earned numerous academic honors and spent five years playing point guard for WashU basketball.
